SHIPPING METHODS & CHARGES

Our online business hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. All orders are dispatched from our warehouse located in Northern NSW, Australia. For all shipping enquiries, please feel free to email hello@daughtersofindia.net

We endeavour to process orders within 1-3 business days. Please note during sales periods there may be a slight delay with processing your order.

DOMESTIC (WITHIN AUSTRALIA)

Regular (Australia Post)

Delivery estimate, 3-7 business days from dispatch.

Express (Australia Post)

Delivery estimate, 1-5 business days from dispatch.

Courier Express

Shipped as priority. Delivery estimate, 1 business day from dispatch.

Express (DHL or Australia Post)*

Standard (DHL or Australia Post)*

* Some countries can only be shipped to via Australia Post. We use DHL as a priority service and use Australia Post when DHL isn't available.

TAXES AND DUTIES

Any taxes and duties payable in countries outside of Australia will be added to your order total and paid at checkout, unless otherwise specified at checkout.

SHIPPING DELAYS

Please note that your order may be subject to delays outside of Daughters of India control. Shipping delays can be a result of customs clearances, holiday periods, or the remote nature of your delivery location. For time-sensitive orders, we recommend opting for express delivery where possible. Daughters of India is not responsible for shipping delays on orders and cannot guarantee exact delivery dates or timeframes.

LOST PARCELS

Daughters of India offers tracking for all orders, however Daughters of India does not accept responsibility for goods lost in transit or goods that have been delivered with a valid proof of delivery. If your parcel goes missing, you will be required to lodge a formal complaint as the owner of the parcel with Australia Post/DHL.

All prices include VAT and import duties. Our slow fashion garments are handcrafted in India and shipped to you from our warehouse in Tweed Heads, NSW.

We are a small team however we endeavour to process your order within 1–2 business days. Every order is fully tracked to your door. You’ll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.

All prices include Italian VAT (22%) and any applicable import duties. Orders to Livigno and Campione d’Italia are outside the EU VAT area and may face local import charges on delivery.

Love it or swap it — you have 30 days from shipment to return any piece for store credit — valid five years, on anything we make.

Lodge your return through our Returns Portal — it takes about two minutes.
Post your return with any tracked carrier, and keep your receipt until your credit lands.
Pieces come back unworn and unwashed, with tags attached.
Once your return arrives, we process it within 5 business days.
Final sale pieces aren’t eligible. Faulty pieces are always made right.
